Those macarons from The Icing Room were as hard as biscuits! Where's the melting texture that I so crave from Carousel!

School started, I'm so sad! :(

No more sleeping in late and tweedling my thumbs while reading a darn good book.
No more stuffing my face with food when I get bored.
No more checking the lifestyle section for tv listings on my favourite shows....
No more randomly going out with the family and getting scolded by D coz I always 'merayap'
    No more fun :(

(I'm probably the most boring person everr as you can tell...)

GRR. But the sun is up and the clouds are cottoncandy! It's countdown of 9 weeks to NIE!
    *bhangra-dance!*
OMG IT RHYMES IT RHYMES!! I posted this entry and read it again and found out it rhymes! Cottoncandy and NIE! Wowww so clever!!

And and, today in class....I freaking sang. Like Do-Re-Mi THE HILLS ARE ALIVEEEE~ sang.
Ok so not so dramatic la can?

But everytime we go into a new chapter for English, there's a tuning-in song and I don't do it with the class EVER since I started teaching. But today I think I had too much Vitasoy and so I got all brave and did the tuning-in song to the tune of B-I-N-G-O. And the kids were all staring at me. Either from shock I sang so awesomely or I sounded like a rabid dog to be shot.
I hope it's coz it sounded good. HAHA.

Anyway, went to an engagement with D and his mummy last sunday...I thot I was quite kay-poh-chi by being there since I don't know the bride-to-be personally. But D said she is a long-time family friend plus she's D's younger sister's best friend....
And don't get a shock ar! I'm reverting back and insyallah staying that way.

I tried the lilit-lilit style tudung that day and it was interesting. I need more practice but it was shockingly comfortable as opposed to the style I usually wear to work. We'll see.
And as always, I love you D.

Over the school holidays did you guys go anywhere?
I did! The family went to Trengganu following a tour group for 4D/2N. First night was spent on the coach and it was rough, I probably got 2hours of sleep max coz it was an uncomfortable bumpy ride.

Trengganu is quite a strong islamic state in Malaysia and there were certain rules. My dad had to remove his cap when we went shopping at Mydin Wholesaler coz the guard said that he's potraying himself as a "Yahudi" by doing that and they wouldn't grant him access to the store. I thought that was pretty strict and I was quite shocked.
Other than that, Trengganu was awesome. The FOOD especially which is no wonder I gained a ridiculous amount of weight! Even though simple, back to basics food was pretty much what they ate, it was memorable maybe bcoz we're too used to gravy and spices in our Nasi Padang.

We ate a chockful of Lemang with Serunding, Keropok Lekor, Fish Keropok and their rice dishes are very simple.
They get a plate of rice, a whole fried fish/ikan bakar, sambal belacan (awesome over there! Not spicy at all and just really addictive) and ulam(raw veggies). And that's all they eat every single time I sit down at a warung with the family and look around.
Places of interest-wise, we went to Taman Tamadun Islam which is a park that recreates replicas of significant architectures in Islam from all over the world in a smaller scale. We have mosques from China, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia...The Taj Mahal from India...Masjid Nabawi..
Other places like a Lemang Shop, Pasar Payang which is like a marketplace since Trengganu doesn't have a shopping mall (U MUST BE KIDDING ME), Kuantan Mega Mall, several beaches, batik centres and Masjid Kristal. Stayed at Awana Kijal. From here on, random pictures here we go! Just a few....I'm pretty wiped out and I don't think anyone is interested also hahaa.
That's like 1% of all the pictures I took but I'm lazzzyyy. And I used my Think Pink Bath Bomb! But that's a separate entry all together. No one really cares, I'm just excited by myself haha. Ok bye!

I 've had my Lush Cherry Popped! (Warning: Picture Heavy)

Elder sis just came back from Australia and she helped me bring home some goodies! I'm not even going to try to decipher the smell of these stuff, I can't describe them for nuts! I thought I was good at describing? But the scents from Lush are onto a whole new level, coz I think it's really a mixture of so many scents together. But I will give you the description stated on the paper wrapping for each item. Have not used any of them yet so I can't comment much. Enough rambling, pictures please!

I shit rainbows just looking at the paper bag. My Lush experience is about to begin!

But first, this was for Mummy but I took a pic of it first. Sultana of Soap, it had raisins and nut-things on the top crust.

Mine mine mine and I'm not sharing! :D

Honey I Washed The Kids Solid Perfume. This little bugger is really concentrated! Just smelling it from the tin made me dizzy. But I'm guessing it will lend a more subtle fragrance if used lightly at pulse points.

Rehab Shampoo. Ok now this wasn't my fault! I requested for the smallest bottle but elder sis got me a huge 500g bottle. AUD$35! Can see the comparison with my hand sanitizer. Can I just say, this smells like baby massage oil~Malay people, we call it Minyak Telon!

Oh side note, look at my care-bearie display!
*note to D: SEE IT'S NOT A LOW-CLASS BAKUL K! IT'S A CLASSY RATTAN BASKET THAT I STACK SO VERY THE NICELY*
Put strung out hair into Rehab. Featuring oils for extra strength, enzymes for cleansing, seaweed for softness and essential oils for detoxing and toning your scalp.

Think Pink Bath Ballistic. I asked for a mini one but elder sis got me a full size one... It was AUD$7.95. When I took it out, it crumbled powder all over the place! Will use this during my Trengganu Trip in 2days time. Bathtub fun here I come! Would be nice if I could share the tub with D though.... *naughty naughty ar!*
Darlings! Bathe in sweet, fragrant pinkness with a shattering of confetti hearts.
-->Ouuu confetti hearts! Will take pic of my bath when I use it to see if it really does happen.

Next up would be soaps! Lovely lovely EXPENSIVE soaps!

Porridge Soap. AUD$7.92 I loved this scent the best! Reminded me of vanilla+caramel biscuits.
The very best way to start the day: A helping of porridge oats with lashings of delicious molasses. Ideal for sensitive skin, irresistible to everyone else.

Rockstar Soap. AUD$8.85 Love the pale pink colour, love-hate relationship with the smell. Abit overpowering for me sniffing it straight from the soap.
Sing as you wash and be a star in your own bathroom.

The Godmother Soap. AUD$10.56 Second favourite scent like spicy blackcurrant. Has several dustings of purple glitter.
The Godmother. 60% of you wash your hands with washing up liquid! Use this instead.
--> Clever use of words, ironically explains why it's called the godmother.

Honey I Washed The Kids Soap. AUD$11.38 Just had to get this to see what the hype was all about. Sure it looks yummy with the honeycomb on top...smell-wise it didn't blow me away. Didn't smell vanilla or caramel nor honey for that matter as described by people. Hmm... we'll see when I use it in the shower. Has liberal dusting of gold glitter.
Mouthwatering honey soap for washing you, the kids, the dog and the granny.

Figs and Leaves Soap was given as a sample. Don't quote me on this, but I thought it smelled really exotic like an Egyptian scent. And like, 'ulama-ulama Islam'. Clean and musky and err...religious-smelling. And leaves, for real? That black thing on the soap really is a leaf! The rest of the soap looks like grains of rice. Interesting, really.

Got a gift box with purchase of AUD$50 and above. The Sparkle Box.

    Did Christmas come early? :D

Two items: Shimmy Shimmy Glitter Bar and Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly

Gold and silver micro-glitters in this massage bar. Smooth this over your skin and you'll be all glittery in no time!

Crush it and smooth all over your body in the shower to soften your skin. Has purple glitter and the colour here looks like ribena against strong light. Actual colour is the one on top, deep indigo.

And to finish this post, little sisters dragged me to Candy Empire and I got them the bag of random chocolates at the back among other things like gummies and Ovaltines. I slipped in some jelly beans and a turkish delight for myself. Sigh, I'm officially broke.

*Disclaimer for the boyfriend* : I didn't go all crazy this time round, I promise :)

On 12June along with the stinky Korres Lip Butter, we went to Etude House and got some skincare stuff.
A blackhead remover scrub and acne spot treatment..others are basically free stuff.

Stage Ion was having it's 70% moving out sale and of course I dragged Sheela in... I got 2 black eyeliners and two lippies. Midsummer Mauve for me and Berry Boudouir for mummy dearest.

Two days ago bby and I went to watch Karate Kid and it was ok, not a must-watch but it wouldn't be a waste of money either.

Acting was so-so, plot was average albiet a little strange... I dunno, some scenes in the movie I was just not feeling it. One or two laughs here and there but not a guffaw in any way. I wasn't blown away but I flinched at the kungfu competition scene when Jaden's leg got hurt.

I'm still holding out for Toy Story 3, I hope it doesn't disappoint. *toes crossed*

After accompanying D on an unsuccessful trip to LTA today (closed at 4.30pm! We arrived at 4.32 dang!) we went back to AMK and had a late lunch at Yunus N Family...Hady Mirza's family business I was told, haha.

On the way home today, I caved in so bad coz I am lemming for the Sasa Cosmetics Pouch that was on sale for $1.95 with a $30 purchase. Haizz.......

    Biggest scare of my life.

Today I went around town with Sheela and I got a few stuff coz I sorta needed them or I had to get them for a valid reason.

Like a Korres Lip Butter in Mango. Jasmine was OOS. Coz they were on sale from originally $25 to $12.90 and this was one of the products I've been meaning to try. Coz being a youtube fangirl means you're easily influenced by guru reviews right? I know I'm not alone *points finger at YOU* :)

So I got one, and I held dear to it occasionally sniffing it in the MRT, caressing the waxy box it came in....like it's some goddamn puppy.

HELLO, even on sale it's still a little on the high side!
And when I got home, i took a picture of it. And got stuff out of their boxes to make some space on my bedroom floor.
And I threw a paper bag away filled with random plastic bags and empty boxes.

    Nyeh.
And then after having my dinner, I started looking for my beloved puppy lip butter. And I couldnt find it!

Story short, I went down to the rubbish chute. YES THE COMMON RUBBISH CHUTE THAT MY WHOLE BLOCK SHARES. And I meant to seek help from the bangla who does our rubbish everyday....but a kind angel came and helped me to open the chute and pulled the bin out instead. He said his name is Pak Ali.
I'll pray for him, a good deed begets another.

And if you're wondering, it was still in the plastic bag and then still in it's cozy little box. So it's as good as new, but I washed the outside of the jar with dettol just to be sure.

And yes, the rubbish chute stunk like hell.

Its been a lazy week. Lazy but busy week.
How can a lazy day be busy? I dunno, don't ask me.

So a couple of pictures on anything significant,

Me and Sheela decided to go fishing with Ayah. Ayah left home at 6.15am, we left at 6.40am....And we came across a jam in the road. A huge tree fell onto the road, blocking vehicles from both sides. But my dad went past, so I would think it happened at aroung 6.30am.
We had to alight and from advice from the policeman on the road, we walked for a few minutes until the tree was cleared and we had to board another bus and tap our ez-links again.
On an extremely boring day, I did a makeover for Sheela which includes whole-face makeup. Of course I washed ny brushes after that.....And then during a lull after the makeover, I fingered my old eyeliner from Rhomlon that I've had for 2 years now and don't see myself using it anymore coz the tip is really pokey.
I did a henna-thingy design with the eyeliner HAHA. Who says I'm not creative?!
Mummy had surgery today so brunch was by me. I fricking printed out recipes from the internet and it paid off. Fried macaroni and sweet and sour hotdogs. Im so proud of myself *million pats on the back*.
    Ok, dah boleh khawin!! Pass!!

I seldom post a picture with my youngest sister in it.
This is Anis. Tomboy Anis. Who gorged on desserts rather than substantial food.

Sometime down the week was my Uncle and Aunt's wedding anniversary and they invited our family to a buffet dinner at Sakura Keat Hong.

I ate and I ate....slow and steady. And I ended up eating quite abit! I think that's why I feel heavy these few days...Time for exercise!
    .

    .

    .

Phishttt! If I follow through with my words all the time, by now I would be as slim and beautiful as Rossa. Why Rossa? Ask D la! Grrr.
And along the same week, I accompanied D to his work friend's wedding at Tampines. Congratulations and Marital Bliss to Haziq and Rashidah.....They are nice people, I met them during Hari Raya last year when we went visiting with his work team.
And thennn a few days later I met my favourite person again for Shrek Forever 3D!
My favourite of all the Shrek Movies would still go to Shrek The Third. It's the most lame-ass and knowing me, it's totally my kinda thing - Like Spongebob Squarepants!

If you're still wondering who's my favourite person is......shame on you! You havn't been reading this blog long enough! :)

The boyfriend gave me the 10th addition to the Carebear family.
Isn't she a cutie! With the little pink bow and for comparison, she's slightly larger than the normal bears D has gotten me...

She's a baby, and she has lollipops on her tummy.
    I call her BabyPops!
And I love her! Thank you bby :)

You know I love my makeup.
And I died when my Travel Brush Kit got stolen.

So I placed a second order to Sigma, this time for the full-sized original set. So that I can keep them at home without any chance of losing them again and suffer from extreme depression.

After 2 weeks of anxiety, they came! In a mangled envelope with messy tape at one side no less.

I should be thankful it didn't end up as lost mail, I take my rude words back.

    Packaging...

The three brushes at the side came in a red mesh bag that I forgot to include. Bleh.

So the ones in the black mesh bag are my 12-pc full-sized original set. The two similar ones with the handles are the Flat-Top Buffer Brush; one for me and one ordered by my colleague. Teeny one with the stubby stump is the Kabuki.

    Face brushes....

Includes large powder, stippling, flat foundation and angled blush brush.

    Eye brushes.....

Includes big shader, blending, shader, angled shader, concealer, pencil, angled liner and thin liner brush.

and free with the set....the travel-sized SS217 which I adoreeeeee.

I think Sigma acted on feedback about how some girls boycotted them. Refrained from buying their brushes because of the similarity to the MAC ones?

I was surprised when I received the brushes, bcoz Sigma changed the brushes' numbering. Like previously the large powder brush was named the SS150? It's now called the F40. Same for the rest of the brushes, the face ones will have the letter 'F' at the front, while the eye brushed will have the letter 'E' before the numbers. A very good clever move I thought.

I wasn't bothered by the names or whatnot. As long as the brushes remain soft and of good quality as I remembered them to be, I'm still a happy camper :)
