*Disclaimer for the boyfriend* : I didn't go all crazy this time round, I promise :)

On 12June along with the ~~stinky~~ Korres Lip Butter, we went to Etude House and got some skincare stuff.
A blackhead remover scrub and acne spot treatment..others are basically free stuff.

Stage Ion was having it's 70% moving out sale and of course I dragged Sheela in... I got 2 black eyeliners and two lippies. Midsummer Mauve for me and Berry Boudouir for mummy dearest.

Two days ago bby and I went to watch Karate Kid and it was ok, not a must-watch but it wouldn't be a waste of money either.

Acting was so-so, plot was average albiet a little strange... I dunno, some scenes in the movie I was just not feeling it. One or two laughs here and there but not a guffaw in any way. I wasn't blown away but I flinched at the kungfu competition scene when Jaden's leg got hurt.

I'm still holding out for Toy Story 3, I hope it doesn't disappoint. *toes crossed*

After accompanying D on an unsuccessful trip to LTA today (closed at 4.30pm! We arrived at 4.32 dang!) we went back to AMK and had a late lunch at Yunus N Family...Hady Mirza's family business I was told, haha.

On the way home today, I caved in so bad coz I am lemming for the Sasa Cosmetics Pouch that was on sale for $1.95 with a $30 purchase. Haizz.......

I seldom post a picture with my youngest sister in it.

This is Anis. Tomboy Anis. Who gorged on desserts rather than substantial food.

Sometime down the week was my Uncle and Aunt's wedding anniversary and they invited our family to a buffet dinner at Sakura Keat Hong.

I ate and I ate....slow and steady. And I ended up eating quite abit! I think that's why I feel heavy these few days...Time for exercise!

Phishttt! If I follow through with my words all the time, by now I would be as slim and beautiful as Rossa. Why Rossa? Ask D la! Grrr.

And along the same week, I accompanied D to his work friend's wedding at Tampines. Congratulations and Marital Bliss to Haziq and Rashidah.....They are nice people, I met them during Hari Raya last year when we went visiting with his work team.

And thennn a few days later I met my favourite person again for Shrek Forever 3D!

My favourite of all the Shrek Movies would still go to Shrek The Third. It's the most lame-ass and knowing me, it's totally my kinda thing - Like Spongebob Squarepants!

If you're still wondering who's my favourite person is......shame on you! You havn't been reading this blog long enough! :)

The boyfriend gave me the 10th addition to the Carebear family.

Isn't she a cutie! With the little pink bow and for comparison, she's slightly larger than the normal bears D has gotten me...

She's a baby, and she has lollipops on her tummy.
I call her BabyPops!
And I love her! Thank you bby :)

I'm having a bout of flu when really, all I did was to watch 200 Pounds Beauty and cry like a baby. No one warned me I would end up with a blocked nose for the next couple of hours??

Saturday was awesome, we met during lunctime and I brought D to Sinaran at Blk 26 to eat Chicken Rice. Which was delish btw. Went to see D's nephew aptly nicknamed 'Chicken Little' at Yishun. We then went to Cineleisure and I was so hyped up coz Toy Story was out!

-.- Turns out it's Toy Story 1 and 2 in 3D, meaning they remade the old movies, add on effects and resell to get more revenue. Toy Story 3, the newest one will be out in May and I'm so excitedddd! Probably as excited for MAC's To The Beach collection HEH.

So being the blur queen I was, we didn't know which movie to watch... Ended up watching The Bounty Hunter.

Oooooh Girl Crush alert, I've always loved Jennifer Aniston! She's old enough to be my mum but SO HOT. D did his bellowing laugh in certain parts of the movie, that's how I know he really enjoys it :)

The movie was fun and romantic...a little disturbing too, Gerard Butler was sucha pig I felt bile rising up my throat. Ok drama queen, but he really is disgusting at times. HAHA.
Watch it if you haven't though! I would say it's a little shy from being a 'must-see', but it's still a nice watch. Kind of like a movie you can fall back onto, that you know won't suck but won't stay in your system for long either.

Then on Sunday, D picked me up and we went jogging! Can you believe it! At East Coast Park no less!

Of course we didn't wake up bright and early, we reached ECP at about 1045.

Started off with a slow run...If you know me, I didn't last very long and walked most of the way. At about 1/3 of ECP, I rented a bike and D slipped on some roller blades and we tackled the rest of ECP. Turned, and it rained!!!

And I was ~cyclinggggg in the rain~. (Sing it in tune with "I'm singggging in the rain~")
By then D already slipped off his blades and ran again. He's a bottomless pit, he ran so much while I cheered him on from my bike!

HAHAA we were soaked and took shelter while we got some 100 plus. And D mentioned about how we will bathe anyway and change into fresh clothes and slippers. And *ping!*I forgot to bring my slippers from home!

Imagine wearing a dress and tights, with jogging shoes. EEWW.

So while we took shelter, D bought for me a pair of slippers from Ripple.

He chose red ones for me! Nice cut like havaianas... Our favourite colour!! Quite cheap at $9.90.

And then we went back to the car, and I wasn't very keen on bathing at ECP coz the floor's gonna be sandy and there was only an outdoor shower..So D drove on and we went to someplace called The Cage and we slunk into one of the futsal pitches' toilet and bathed. HAHA we SNUCK IN somebody's cage just to use the toilet!

And then we were fresh-faced (OMG REALLY Plain Jane) and hungry!

We went to eat Popeye's at The Singapore Flyer.

And then it was time to go homeeeeee.

Saturday, D fetched me after his morning run and we went to swap my Taka vouchers with Tangs vouchers at AMK. Gumtree.sg is awesome, so many responses in such short time. Stopped at AMK Central and D got 2 really nice shirts for $50 at Spade. Went shopping for some baby stuff, will explain that later.

Went to his house and waited for him to bathe. Something REAL embarrassing happened while I was at his house but I shan't say it. GOD, how cherry tomato-faced I must've been. Must be cherry tomato coz even though it's red, it's still cute mah? HAHA.

After that we dropped his sisters off at Centrepoint and went over to Tangs to get my hands on some MAC.

Sped to D's teammate's house at Punggol for a gathering, his friend's twins turned one month and they had an open house. That's what the baby stuff was for!

How nice to have twins! One girl one boy, I also want! It's like the perfect combination, you can stop right at 2 and get the best of both worlds/both sexes.

Left at about 730pm and original plan was to crash Downtown East and eat sushi, but it was packed and parking was crazayy. So abandon ship and we went over to East Coast Park.

Got strawberry milkshake and chili fries and we ate along the way back home...

Reached home quite early too, at 915pm! Who's a good girl? :D

Sunday! We went out after D finished work and original plan was to catch a movie at Bukit Batok Eng Wah. But his friend said that BB Eng Wah has cockroaches! And D freaked out and didn't wanna step foot in the cinema. Hehe, I exaggerate.

Anyway, we ended up at Causeway Point and got some dinner into our system.

Anyone noticed I like taking food pictures? HAHA.
And then we went to watch How To Train Your Dragon...didn't have it in 3D :( It would've been awesome! The graphics were already 'in your face', imagine if you watch it in 3D!

I LOVED THE MOVIE. I even liked it better than Clash of The Titans! On par with Alice in Wonderland. Again, anyone noticed I loveee animation movies?

I'm visualizing D rolling his eyes right now.

Tired!

Just came back from Suntec with who else, my world evolves around him.

He got six, yep SIX movie vouchers from work, but cinema is only at Eng Wah.

So we went to catch his movie - Clash Of The Titans 3D

Only that the voucher is valid for normal movies. But whaddeheck I promised him we'll watch it so we did! Saved the vouchers for another time, since expiry isn't till next year March.

Movie had an awesome plot! Can't say much about the 3D effects, I much preferred Alice in Wonderland's due to it's striking colour schemes and funky characters so the producers had more fun and leeway in that sense to fully utilise 3D.

Titans was set in the 'Romans' era, and there were rubble and dirt, intricate but monotonous-coloured architecture and statues and such. Not much feast for the eyes so 3D effect was kinda swallowed.

But thumbs up for the plot, definitely. And there was that one actress who was cursed with ageless? SHE WAS GORGEOUS!! I had an immediate girl-crush! So porcelain-like and the ruby lips and she just walked with an air of aloofness and humility that it's confusing and totally attractive.

Ok I shall stop gushing about another woman.

And then we went to Pizza Hut for dinner, D had a pasta dish and I had baked rice, we had a side of fries. And then it was time to go home :( Such a short date! *cries*

Oh oh but before all these, I went to IMM alone to get some stuff from Daiso and Watson's coz my sisters were too lazy to accompany me yesterday, and bf worked morning shifts yesterday and today. I took such a long time, I was there from 330-500 and I was alone! but it goes to show I'm not dependant on anyone when I go shopping yes? Instead of meeting D straight at Suntec, he came to IMM to fetch me first coz I was taking my own sweet time and he wouldve had to wait for me anyways.

I'm such a bad gf. Humph.

Especially when it's payday and I go crazy shopping.

I don't think anyone's interested in what I got today HAHA. Bye! Tomorrow's another work day!

Greetings from Shen-toe-shaaaaaa!

Anyway, yea yesterday we spent the day at Harbourfront. Before that, had Long John's breakfast at Plaza Sing. I ordered for us while he went to park the car, and he took so long that our food got cold GRR.

Great weather, thank god for that...Went to Vivo and got snacks from Giant and some other stuff. Went to watch The Spy Next Door, the new Jackie Chan movie. Bf wanted the Gold Class experience again even though its the weekends and so ex! But whos complaining, I love the privacy and comfort too! And he's the one reaching for his wallet not me :D
of course, I will chip in for our food, I'm not *that* spoilt.

And then we went to Sentosa..before driving in we saw his brother who just finished work and so we got in for freeeee~
Walked along the beach, Bf regretted wearing his racing shirt and wanted to buy a sleeveless tee but he managed to tame his inner shopping devil-so proud of him. Got him his Ben N Jerry's, and we basically lazed around and chilled, took the trams and all.

Bf wanted to take a bath first before our Songs Of The Sea Show at 740pm. And he always brings his toiletries everywhere coz he bathes at work before going home. So I said, I wanna bathe too! And it was great coz I recommended him my Clearasil facial wash last month so he's using it too, so I bathed and washed my face and we both smelled exactly the same right?

But then I only brought my touch-up makeup which encompasses only my pressed powder, a lip balm, the lipstick I wore that day, my blush and blush brush, and an all-over color stick. I can't wear my pressed powder without a moisturizer or I'll look very patchy.

So we scoured the 7eleven at Beach Station and also at Palawan but they didnt have one! I took a risk and got this from Sentosa's Island Shop for $6.

I think it's a body moisturizer and I used a pea-sized amount on my face! Nothing happened to my face thank god, but I stored this away with the other sun-screen lotions now. *shudder*

It was Bf's first time watching it and he liked it very much :) I was glad to accompany him though I've watched it umpteen times when I worked there two years ago.

Bf got me one more bear yesterday. I know right! 6th Bear now! To apologize for being rude to me the day before when he was having a bad day...

Got me a Hopeful Heart Bear - is brimming with hope and happiness. She knows a positive outlook is very important. Hopeful Heart always looks on the bright side and knows how to share her hopeful ways with others. Her tummy is a heart glowing with a rainbow of happy rays.

He got me my favourite Pocky Strawberry too! We had our pictures taken by the Digi crew in front of the Oscar statue and we got 2 small wallet-sized pictures, plus 2 keychains and 1 8R photo for $25... Finallyyy for the first time ever, I have my bf's photo in my wallet.

Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 - tick!

On the 3rd of January thanks D! Yayyyy! I'm still reeling from the pitchy voice overload even though its been 3 days.

School has reopened and most of the teachers are having withdrawal syptoms HAHA. One month away from school can work wonders really. I have high hopes for my new class, hopefully my gut instinct is right.

I'm sooo looking forward to payday so bf and I can go to Johor to eat and shop our hearts out. My hands are itching to get more makeup and clothes. I have one last package due soon, but it's taking an awful long time to come and its not funny. GRR.

Anyway, hope the first week of the new year has been going well for all of you! :)

And something came in the mail yesterdayyyy! Wheee~!

pictured: SS150, 187, 168, 190, 194, 224, 219, 239 - Naughty in Black Travel Set. SOOOOO CUTE with the stubby handles HAHA.

Ordered on the 18th, shipped on the 18th, received on 26th morning I think. Coz I only checked the mail yesterday which was a Sunday and they don't deliver mail on Sundays right?

And they included a free gift for me! An eyeshadow in Indian Girl - a frosty purple colour.

Does Sigma do this everytime, or only because I ordered it so close to Christmas?

But who's complaining, Thank You Sigma!

Some people think Sigma are copycats of MAC, and yes I agree with that, what with the same numbering for their brushes. It takes effort and creativity to create wonderful brushes, but it takes art to duplicate them. And they are cheaper, which is a good thing for those who can't afford MAC brushes. Makeup application is an art, your face is the canvas. Perfection may be achieved with the right set of tools and though sometimes you can't afford high-end brushes, that doesn't mean you have to settle looking your second-best. Sigma captures this need and I applaud them for it.

Anyway....Thursday was the outing with bf.
Wanted to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks 2, but it was sold out! Right til 1:40am could you believe it?? Mann.....so we postponed Alvin til later on in the month, and watched Princess and The Frog instead. Lol I loved the movie, it's right up there with the other Disney Princess movies that brings you back to your childhood. Pair a good movie with some sweet popcorn, fried chicken balls, a corn dog and iced lemon tea with a 'life-sized teddy bear" to cuddle with - it doesn't get any better than that :)

Then we got finger food for lunch and ate at some park at YCK.

Went to Vivo yesterday with D, had lunch at Barcelos which is some sort like Nando's I think?

Hehe in the first pic, you can see my fake Anna Sui wallet from KL and the latest addition to my Carebear Collection from D - Love-A-Lot Bear. And yes, we're wearing the same shirt and grey bottoms.

First, you have to order at the front counter and after you've paid, they will give you two cups and an order number. So take a seat where you want, and help yourselves to free flow of soft drinks. They specialize in flame-grilled chicken, that comes with the sauces Tangy Lemon, Mild Peri, Veri Peri and Supa Peri. D got their 1/4 chicken with side of potato wedges. O.O The potato wedges came in a medium-sized bowl that could easily feed 3 people. I got the chicken pita with side of coleslaw. Verdict.....my pita was forgettable..but D enjoyed his chicken. So shouldve stuck to stuff that made them famous in the first place.

Then we went to Tangs but MAC was out of their MSF Natural in my shade, such a bummer. So next we went for a movie and watched Storm Warriors coz it's D's turn to choose. We went into Gold Class y'all! Woooooooo.

Was attended by the very helpful and friendly staff, Eric. Chilled in the lounge while waiting for the movie to start and ordered our snacks and drinks to be served in the movie hall. Seats in the cinema were luxurious~ Could probably house 30pax per movie and theres a small table in between 2 seats. Red velvet seats were very comfy, elevates both the back and the foot rest at the push of a button. And they provided blankets in case you get cold in the cinema!

We got the Gold Wings Platter which came with 6pieces (i think?) of both chicken thighs and wings and a handful of potato wedges served with dips and a small glass of celery and carrot sticks. For drinks I got apple cranberry juice while D had Sprite. We finished everything off with a baked brownie with side of vanilla ice cream and nuts. Wooooo~ Portions were good for the price, the chicken was pretty good and potato wedges were like any other seasoned ones that came frozen. Brownie was average, I'm still reeling from Secret Recipe's. :)

And then we went to get his toiletries from Guardian and coz he has some vouchers, he allowed me to get some stuff too yay!

I'm on cloud 9 right now, and for a very good reason.

Came to the bf yesterday at AMK for a movie... He said I could choose the movie to watch out of these three: Raging Phoenix, Ninja Assassin and A Christmas Carol.

He so wanted to see Raging Phoenix coz the trailer was awesome, this from the producers of Ong Bak. I wasnt really keen on it coz I always cringe when I watch thai fighting movies....but being the wonderful gf I was, I agreed on whatever he decided. He asked why I didn't choose Ninja Assassin and I was like, "The poster looks pretty much the same like Raging Phoenix what? Something I would expect from like a Thai fighting movie."

BUT THEN HE SAID!
"Eh, but it's Rain leh. You said you like him?"

So I turned back to the poster. You can't blame me, Rain was posing with his back to the camera! And for the movie he had shoulder-length hair. I wouldn't have recognised him even if I wanted to! But one thing I did recognise was his holy body, the one that made me fall insanely in love with him and I was sold.

We smuggled food and ate in the cinema haha. Bf said his sister watched the show, and said Rain's acting wasn't very good, so I didn't expect much out of the movie.

BUT OMG, the movie was awesome. I cringed, I covered my face with my jacket, I turned my head into bf's shoulder, I even squeezed out a tear or two. The movie was GORY WITH A CAPITAL G. Blood squirting like nobody's business, grotesque fatal injuries, hanging limbs, really deadly weapons. Fighting movies usually don't have a clear plot and storyline...But this one managed to make the story flow very nicely with it's direct, clear cut, no frills storyline. And the producers even managed to squeeze in droplets of romance in it.

I'm raving like mad for this movie, do watch coz it's really worth your $10. But ur forewarned, it's plenty gory.

After the movie, we sat down under his block and planned for our March Holidays. But not before he took a power nap first coz he met me after his night shift and hasnt had his rest yet.

So what did I do? I camwhored, duh. HAHA.

So it's settled, we'll be going if god permits, to Phuket and Bangkok for 6D5N...Just have to apply for our leave and book our flight tickets and rooms now. 4 more months to go, I can't wait!

My Cherry Culture order arrived today!!! At 1030am. My little sister signed the package for me coz like the lazy pig I am, I was still sleeping lol. So next post will be on my NYX HAUL!!!

Day started out perfectly with a Long John breakfast. Had the Titan Chicken Sandwich Jr. which was hugee. Comes with chicken ham, chicken sausage and hashbrown sandiwched by two fat slices of LJ's toasted bread with a dash of tartar sauce. Definitely yums.

After breakfast while walking to the car, I noticed that the bottom of my white jeans were stained with icky mud! Tried to wash it off at the toilet but no use, white magnifies everything. So we randomly chose Vivo to spend the day, and bf suggested I get a new pair of jeans to change into.

Vivo was packedddd today! Saturday, duh? I chanced upon a pair of black-blue jeans-tights. I know, too many hyphens lol. But thats exactly how i would describe it -the material is black denim with hues of blue, but instead of a metal zipper and clasp, it has an elastic band and it accentuates your legs perfectly. Probably coz i got size S LOL!

Bf being the shopaholic he is, couldnt resist getting a pair of same coloured jeans and a pink tee. JUST COZ I WAS WEARING PINK.
(Story -> Before meeting him, I asked what colour I should wear, giving him a choice of green, grey and pink. He said, anything. So i just grabbed the pink coz ive been wearing way too many dresses and wanted to wear something out of my comfort zone. The pink was a button-up collared shirt.(see pictures) He turned up in green and got upset that our telepathy was short-circuited today. So he went home to change into his pink tee, just to realise it was being washed. He wore a black polo instead.)

So we became the pink couple even though Breast Awareness Month was in October. Ate at Secret Recipe before watching Hump Day at GV.

Irish Lamb Stew (me), Chicken Cordon Bleu (bf)

Had to try the award-winning stew after reading raves about it on blogs.

Ohwell, I didnt experience an orgasm. Mashed potatoes were mashed potatoes, liked the fact that there were pieces of carrots and onions in the stew to break monotony. Lamb meat was tender so it falls off the bone easily. I had a slightly larger lamb's foot(?) as compared to the lady beside my table but I couldn't finish the meat anyways coz I got full pretty quick. I didn't touch the fraction of fat on my foot coz I don't like the texture of animal fats fullstop. Dish kinda reminded me of the Beefsteak that my mum cooks at home lol!

Finished the meal by sharing an American Brownie with a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream.

Chocolate Heavenn! The brownie was the compact, sinful and heavy kind and the chocolate pond it sat on added even more guilt. Ice cream was predictable but helps to break through the heaviness of the chocolate. Bf and I didnt want to finish it coz we knew it would take days to work it all off.

Hump Day. Is. Effing. Bad.
Don't watch it you guys. We sat in the theatre for 30mins, and when it became clear that the movie wasnt getting better, we left the cinema. Thats $20 wasted on a shitty gay movie. GRR.
