Hi everyone! I GOT A CAMERA LIKE FINALLY!!Will be claiming it under LDS....awesome, it's like getting this for free coz it was going on sale for $399!
Samsung PL150. Got it in red but no difference from the other colour coz the only thing that is tinted on this black camera is the crystal on the side that faintly shows u got it in red or blue.
I LOVE THIS CAMERA!! It's not the harsh kind that captures every large pore, every blemish on my face or the faint female mustache i might have forgottten to shave off. HAHA. I hate cameras like that. BUT! You can go into detail when taking pictures using a different setting.
Why I love it so?
1. There is a 'beauty' shoot setting that will smoothen out your complexion in pictures!
2. FRONT LCD! No more half-faced shots! Will be able to see whether everyone is in frame!
3. Front LCD can be converted to display the countdown timing when you use a timer! No more cramped smiles and wondering when the pic will be taken!
4. Camera detects a smile and takes pictures immediately!
Loves! :) Will be going to the zoo tomorrow with D so will be posting QUALITY pictures taken with this camera! Yay for no more crappy phone pics! 12.4MP btw.
Ignore lion's mane of a hair and major zit on my chin. That's where I always get my zits prrfft. But lookie! It totally smoothens out complexions, I think I look flawless (except the zit, no hiding that one) no kidding!

Teachers get a $400 (more if you are a seasoned teacher $750 i think) LDS Claim (Learning & Development Scheme) every year which they can spend on items that will assist in their professional development etc. Items range from PDAs, Laptops, Cameras, Recorders, Smartphones... But you will have to explain if needed, the function of the item you bought that structures to LDS before it gets approved.
IPhones were approved previously in my school, and my sister had friends getting Ipod Touch(s).
Before it was capped yesterday, I went out to Lot1 and got the E71 in black. Would you believe it, I was in the market for a smartphone after my LG Viewty decided to be a bitch, and having heard of the LDS Claim made me tippy! Not only can I get my phone, but I can claim part of the purchase back so literally, I got a brand new phone without contract for 1/5 of the price.
Am loving it so far, especially love the sleek design and the qwerty keypad. And have I mentioned how good it is as an organiser?! *lovelove*
I stored my Nokia 3120 classic phone in a drawer and sold my uugghh white LG Viewty for $70 at Lot1. Kinda low, but I wasn't using it anyway and it had scratches and the camera hangs quite a bit. So I'm pretty happy..
Life has been treating me good so far. Alhamdulilah....
